CORE LABORATORY SERVICES
In appropriate clinical trials that employ biomarkers in imaging, CBI will assume the responsibilities of a core laboratory, ensuring the quality and integrity of collected data.
Effective use of imaging biomarkers requires protocol design, execution, and quality control to ensure that high-quality, reproducible data, acceptable to the FDA and other regulatory bodies, is obtained. Skill and experience in these imaging-centric trials is crucial to achieving success.
The MGH Center for Biomarkers in Imaging, built on the proven imaging expertise of the Massachusetts General Hospital Department Radiology, has the skill and expertise necessary to successfully conduct trials involving imaging biomarkers. CBI will work with a trial sponsor, developing appropriate systems to ensure the efficient collection of imaging data, and, using the expertise of the Departments 80-plus sub-specialty trained, board-certified radiologists, provide timely, accurate image and data interpretation.
All core laboratory services are customized to meet sponsor needs and conducted in full conformance with applicable FDA regulations.
