Imaging Studies Shed Light on Tumor Normalization Process 15 Jan 2007
A study demonstrating the anti-angiogenesis and tumor normalization effects of the drug AZD2171, using MRI, was published in Cancer Cell (Jan 2007, 11(1): 83-95). The study describes the concurrent acquisition of multiple types of MR data including structural, functional, and tractographic, and shows the correlative nature of these imaging studies during the course of treatment by the drug.
