CBI Presents Poster on Tumor Vasomotion at ISMRM-2007 – 15 May 2007

One general characteristic of tumors is their state of vasculature disorganization.  It was therefore surprising that, in a preliminary study on low-frequency synchronized vasoconstriction (i.e., vasomotion), a type of brain tumors (glioblastomas) was found to have a higher degree of synchronous vasomotion than surrounding tissue.

This study was presented as a poster at the 2007 meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine in Berlin. (Download Poster in .pdf)
