Biomarkers in Imaging Concept Outlined in Radiology Article - June 2003

An article published in the June 2003 edition of Radiology, one of the medical imaging community's leading peer-reviewed journals, provides a detailed overview of the imaging biomarkers concept on which the MGH Center for Biomarkers in Imaging is based.  Authored jointly by CBI Co-Director John J. Smith, MD, JD, CBI Director A. Greg Sorensen, MD, and CBI Co-Director James H. Thrall, MD, the article describes both the promise and issues inherent in imaging biomarkers.
