Director, Clinical Pharmacology, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, US Food and Drug Administration
Dr. Collins received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in chemical and biochemical engineering, and did his postdoctoral fellowship in clinical pharmacology at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Collins spent 10 years at the National Institutes of Health, and joined the Food and Drug Administration in 1988, where he is currently the Director of the Laboratory of Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Collins has authored or co-authored over 170 papers, and holds adjunct faculty appointments at Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, and the Uniformed Services University.
